ONO Achieves Top 1% in S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2025
Osaka, Japan, April 18, 2025 - Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President and COO: Toichi Takino; “Ono”) was selected as a Yearbook Member in The Sustainability Yearbook 2025 issued by S&P Global, a global research and evaluation organization, after being named in the Top 1% in the pharmaceutical industry category.
Ono was presented with a trophy at the Sustainability Yearbook Annual Forum 2025 held on April 8.

In The Sustainability Yearbook, S&P Global evaluates companies from three perspectives of sustainability: “Environment”, “Society”, and “Economic / Governance.” The top 15% of companies in each industry are selected every year as “Yearbook Members.”
The Sustainability Yearbook 2025 lists 780 out of more than 7,690 companies that were evaluated. In addition, of 65 companies that were selected for the "Top 1%" in their respective industries, 9 are Japanese companies, including Ono, which was the only company from the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition to “contributing to people's health” through its pharmaceutical business, Ono will continue to take on the challenge of realizing a sustainable society in accordance with our sustainable management policies of “conserving a rich global environment for future generations,” “realizing a society in which everyone can play an active roles with vitality,” and “establishing a highly transparent and robust management.”
